Nina Čeferin gratuated at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law, in 2018. After her studies, she joined the Čeferin Law Firm and partners as a trainee in the Civil Law Department.
During her studies at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, she also studied at the University of Antwerp, where she fulfilled some of her study obligations, particularly in the field of EU law. During her studies, she participated in the All-European International Humanitarian and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition, where she won second place with two co-competitors. For this success, she was awarded by the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana for high achievements in the extra-curricular activities. In year 2014/15 she was ranked among 5% of the best students of her generation. During her studies, she completed a three-month internship at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Vienna, followed by a three-month internship at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
She communicates in the following foreign languages: English; Croatian and German- passive knowledge.
